        Dai Dingyi (male) was born in Shanghai in August, 1947, and he was conferred upon the master's degree at the Quantitative Economics Department of the Postgraduate Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1984. As a research fellow, Mr. Dai ever held the position of Director of China Logistics Information Center of the Ministry of Internal Trade. From 2003 to 2011, he served as Vice Chairman of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing. Presently, he holds the position of Executive Vice President of China Society of Logistics and Vice Director of the Experts Commission of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing. Concurrently, he serves as Vice Director of the National Technical Committee of Standardization in Logistics, Member of the Advisor Committee for State Informatization, Member of the Advisory Committee for Economic & Trade Policy, and Member of the National Appraisal Committee for Scientific Progress etc. Since he was engaged in logistics and purchasing policy research and relevant informatization and standardization work for a long time, Mr. Dai was ever honored the “State Council Expert for Special Allowance”.
